J. Fleet Designs has been selling beautiful lacquerware for 17 years and our clients love its beauty and functionality. Our lacquerware products are waterproof, heat resistant and food friendly.
If handled with care, your products will last for many years. As with porcelain or glass, it may chip if it is dropped or handled roughly; therefore, we are not able to provide a lifetime guarantee.
TO CARE FOR YOUR BEAUTIFUL LACQUERWARE:
- Please use warm soapy water with a soft sponge or furniture polish with a soft cloth.
- Do not soak in water or use abrasive sponges.
- Do not put in a dishwasher or microwave.
- To avoid chipping and scratching, do not use as a cutting surface or with metal utensils.
- Handle with care and do not handle roughly. Do not drop. Be careful when putting lacquer pieces down or when you move them. Treat like porcelain or glass.
- Do not stack lacquer pieces on top of one another.
- Do not put on rough surfaces.
IF YOU DROP OR CHIP YOUR LACQUERWARE:
- Several layers of nail polish can be used to repair small chips or scratches that may occur over time if a piece is dropped. It is important to use 5-6 coats of nail polish for each repair.
- If you get a small chip, it is very important to apply layers of nail polish right away to prevent the chip from becoming bigger. If you apply the nail polish quickly, you should be able to prevent the tiny chip from developing into a bigger one.
